Choosing Color of Make-ups to Match with Dresses

Deciding on to what to wear and what make-up to match it might be one of girls’ worst nightmares as there are a lot of difficult colors to accessorize with eye shadow, lipstick and blush, like red, navy blue and black.

Well here are some suggestions that could make you choose colors easier:

Siren Red

Red is one of the most difficult colors to accessorize with eye shadow. Most women try to match their make-up with the clothes they wear but of course wearing a red eye shadow may somehow look odd to casual occasions (even to formal ones).

The trick? – Green. Yes, green. Now don’t you worry of looking like a Christmas tree as the right shade of green can really do magic to a red outfit.

If you’re a warm-toned girl, you’ll need a warmer green like Verdigris, Pine and Palmetto, if you prefer a matte look, then add on Loden, Khaki and Aloe shades for some shimmer. If you’re a cool-toned girl, it is beautiful to put on make-ups with Mint, Celadon, Seafoam and Moss colors. Jade is a lovely cool-toned green frost while Basil and Ivy are deep, muted shimmery shades that create a great subdued look.

Green isn't the only color that works with red, of course. Gold shades, darker blues and certain shades of coral will work, as well.

Don’t’ be afraid to experiment and see what looks best on you.

Serious Navy

Many colors look great with navy like purples, pinks, metallic gold or silver on the eyes, and fire-engine red on the lips. While rich corals, bright tangerines and springy peaches will also make your facial features pop when you wear navy blue.

A blue suit would match the pink-leaning Azalea or the warm Mandarin on your lips. For your cheeks, we suggest Pomegranate rouge or Rosewood blush.

Basic Black

To match the black suit with make-up and to make it sexier than it already is, try using deepest red lipsticks like Cherry, Grenadine, Sassafras and Dahlia!

Now I hope those tips were able to help you in any way. :)
