Guide to Jewelry Fashion

Aside from bringing on glitters and glam in a look (no matter how simple it is), jewelry are just something every woman must have to look and feel good. But while it seems to easy to think of putting on various jewels, choosing on the right one for you and your get-up could be a tedious task.

Here are some tips to help you with the choice:

First, you’ll have to choose the material that you like. After you have decided on what material, you can start looking. It is made to fulfill your looks and sometimes it creates style. So be careful. You must choose who’s creating your looks whether your clothing or your accessory.

The most fashionable type of jewelry today is silver. If you want gold, you can have the white gold. Silver goes perfectly with any material. Also, it is not noticeable and it helps you create a bohemian style, which is fashionable right now. To make it trendy choose silver and gems on top.

Another popular type of material is the diamond. It is very elegant and creates the image of luxury. If you want to look really trendy, choose the diamond that is paired with platinum, silver or even white gold. Today’s trend says no to big jewelry, so there are ways if you really like big jewelry. Buy the jewelry that creates some illusion of lightness, the jewelry that is created from small pieces of materials. The benefit of using such jewelry is you will look very original and fashionable.

In using this kind of jewelry you must remember that it is created to fulfill your style. In buying such jewelry you must match it with the color and kind of dress you have and do not ever buy jewelry that you do not like.

Choosing Color of Make-ups to Match with Dresses

Deciding on to what to wear and what make-up to match it might be one of girls’ worst nightmares as there are a lot of difficult colors to accessorize with eye shadow, lipstick and blush, like red, navy blue and black.

Well here are some suggestions that could make you choose colors easier:

Siren Red

Red is one of the most difficult colors to accessorize with eye shadow. Most women try to match their make-up with the clothes they wear but of course wearing a red eye shadow may somehow look odd to casual occasions (even to formal ones).

The trick? – Green. Yes, green. Now don’t you worry of looking like a Christmas tree as the right shade of green can really do magic to a red outfit.

If you’re a warm-toned girl, you’ll need a warmer green like Verdigris, Pine and Palmetto, if you prefer a matte look, then add on Loden, Khaki and Aloe shades for some shimmer. If you’re a cool-toned girl, it is beautiful to put on make-ups with Mint, Celadon, Seafoam and Moss colors. Jade is a lovely cool-toned green frost while Basil and Ivy are deep, muted shimmery shades that create a great subdued look.

Green isn't the only color that works with red, of course. Gold shades, darker blues and certain shades of coral will work, as well.

Don’t’ be afraid to experiment and see what looks best on you.

Serious Navy

Many colors look great with navy like purples, pinks, metallic gold or silver on the eyes, and fire-engine red on the lips. While rich corals, bright tangerines and springy peaches will also make your facial features pop when you wear navy blue.

A blue suit would match the pink-leaning Azalea or the warm Mandarin on your lips. For your cheeks, we suggest Pomegranate rouge or Rosewood blush.

Basic Black

To match the black suit with make-up and to make it sexier than it already is, try using deepest red lipsticks like Cherry, Grenadine, Sassafras and Dahlia!

Now I hope those tips were able to help you in any way. :)

Knowing the 'real' Louis Vuitton

Many branded bags today are fake. It’s as if we need a professional’s eye to be able to tell the difference of real a Louis Vuitton bag and fake Louis Vuitton bag. Here are some few tips to help you differentiate the real Louis Vuitton bags and fake Louis Vuitton bags:

  1. Look at the text printed on the bag, real Louis Vuitton purses have the words "Louis Vuitton Made In France" on the ends by the zipper while the fake Louis Vuitton purses has the same phrase but in all lower cases, "louis vuitton made in France".
  2. Straps also have big differences, real Louis Vuitton purses have straps that are a dark brown to almost brick red color while the fake Louis Vuitton have straps that are light tan color. Also the straps of the fake ones have burgundy plastic-y stuff that peels off eventually while the original ones don’t have edging except for the stitching along side.
  3. They also have different material used for the lining, Alcantra is the material used by Louis Vuitton while the fake use tan suede and the cheaper ones use a tan velvety material.

There are also obvious differences that you will sometimes notice in the logos on the bags and the materials that the bag itself made out of, Real Louis Vuitton uses real cowhide leather while fake ones use cheap leather or generic plastic. These are the tips that I have searched for you, hope that this will help you.

Lipsticks can cause cancer... Not so True!

I guess most girls would agree that lipsticks really does some magic in turning a washed out look into a divalicious get-up. I am probably one of those who just can't live without a lipstick in my bag. And I guess nothing's wrong with that until I received this email giving warning about some lipsticks that may cause cancer.

Here goes the email:

Recently a brand called "Red Earth" decreased their prices from $67 to $9.90. It contained lead. Lead is a chemical which causes cancer.

The Brands which contain lead are:
1.. CHRISTIAN DIOR
2. LANCOME
3. CLINIQUE
4. Y.S.L
5. ESTEE LAUDER
6. SHISEIDO
7. RED EARTH (Lip Gloss)
8. CHANEL (Lip Conditioner)
9. MARKET AMERICA-MOTNES LIPSTICK.

The higher the lead content, the greater the chance of causing cancer.

After doing a test on lipsticks, it was found that the Y.S.L. lipstick contained the most amount of lead.

Watch out for those lipsticks which are supposed to stay longer. If your lipstick stays longer, it is because of the higher content of lead.

Here is the test you can do yourself:

1. Put some lipstick on your hand.
2. Use a Gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.
3. If the lipstick color changes to black then you know the lipstick contains lead.

Please send this information to all your girlfriends, wives and female family members. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center
Dioxin Carcinogens causes cancer, especially breast cancer.

And unless you are not a fan of lipstick, this news wouldn't really bother you. But I am! And so of course I was terrified! Good thing a recent report came saying how this email is misleading and inaccurate.

A glimpse of the report says:

Cancer Research UK has confirmed that the email's claims are not true, and Sophos advises that users should simply delete the email, and not forward it onto their friends and colleagues.

Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos, said,

"Chain letters like this are too easily forwarded to friends, family and colleagues without people using their common sense. Stories like this become urban legends, constantly being repeated without anyone bothering to check the facts. Hoaxes and chain letters like this are not harmless - they waste time and bandwidth, and can be a genuine headache for support departments. Users need to be more skeptical, and ask themselves whether everything they are told by email can be believed."
