Investing on Cosmetics

It hadn’t been once that I’ve been asked if the cosmetics I have are worth every cent I spend. And frankly, yes, they are!

Although I must admit that cosmetics are indeed pricey nowadays, these things are actually well worth it. Of course one can argue that there’s always a cheaper choice and that the quality of a thing is not measured by its price.

However, things are different when it comes to cosmetics or looking attractive for that matter. After all, beauty does not come cheap. And so you need to invest if only to look good and enhance your personality. It’s like having to do home mortgages to get your loans approved; even if you are one of those with bad credit.

- Now this may sound a bit petty but some people believe that an enhanced appearance is one secret in keeping a relationship. Well aside from that, if you are a partner of an actor or a public figure, I guess that goes without saying that you, too need to invest on your look.

3. Will it be better for your self-esteem?

- Let’s face it, in this society, face value matters. If looking good will help you feel good about yourself then it’s no question it’s worth spending.

4. Will it change your destiny?

- If an enhanced you will help you get your most coveted job or help you get a good future, then invest on it!

Yep, one of the world’s most celebrated supermodels proved that life as a model isn’t just about getting glamorous and beautiful. Naomi recently stepped up to the plate for team ELLE and played a softball game against the editors of MODE magazine in the season finale of Ugly Betty.

And what’s great is that you can get hold of that uniform Naomi wore on the show by bidding on it. The proceeds of which will benefit Clothes Off Our Back, and organization raising money for children’s charities. Biddings have started last May 16 and will come to close on the May 26, 9am EST.

Drew Barrymore is the new Covergirl

I actually just visited the website of Covergirl and I found out they just had themselves a new star to join their roster of endorsers. To use the line in their ad, “Recognize her? Of course you do.” Meet Covergirl’s new cover girl, Drew Barrymore.

She heads the product’s latest ad campaign with a line: “Cause the new covergirl collection is so advanced my beauty is enhanced. But I’m still Drew and you’re perfectly you. See the difference not the make-up.”

Drew, who was absolutely gorgeous in the ad was showcasing her timeless beauty and radiance dancing and enjoying herself (and need I say her beauty) to the tune of some edgy upbeat song. This is what I actually love most about Drew; she can be anything and everything she wants by just being her.
